Tammy is a really good beautician I been coming to her since I was a little girl. I am always satisfied when I leave her shop. Before I used to hate to come to the beauty shop and get my hair done or get a perm because my scalp is so sensitive but Tammy found a way to perm my hair where my scalp would not burn. Now I am not afraid to go to the beauty shop. When I went away to college I would come home and visit and she would always hook me up. Tammy knows how to care of her customers. Tammy Is a Life Saver!!!! The first time I went to Trendz by Tammy, it was for my birthday and I had already been to a salon to get my hair cut and treated so that it could become healthy again, but they did me such a disservice and were overly expensive. So, my cousin introduced my to Tammy and she grew my hair back out and now she is the only person who can touch my hair because she has what are called "growing hands". I recently tried a new haircut and I absolutely love it because Tammy is really good with giving you a cut or style and making it yours; that's why I love getting my hair done there. Fast forward to 2011; i decided to go natural last year so in September we did the "big chop" and now i am 100% natural. I have a full afro and Tammy maintains it just as well.

I have three beautiful girls that Tammy has worked her magic on. I knew very little about taking care of African American hair (being Anglo) and it unfortunately showed. Although our daughters are very patient with me I could tell they felt MUCH better having "BEAUTIFUL" hair after Tammy helped them. She not only worked her magic but she took her time to explain to all of us what needed to be done to keep and maintain their hair.
